Sisterhood is Sacred

Sisterhood is sacred

Sisterhood is a deep and desired connection to be seen, witnessed and held by another woman.

Sisters are the women that you can look deeply into their eyes and see yourself.

Sisters are the women who stand by your side without judgement.

Willing to walk with you through the wild

Willing to shed layers of themselves with you

They choose to be there to hold space for you to stand in your truth.

They are the women who choose to reflect your divine light back to you.

Sisters are women who crave connection and community.

Sisters are the women whose pain you feel as if it your own.

For a long time I desired this disconnection with other women but had so many stories running of judgement and comparison.

After years and years of feeling like I was doing this journey on my own.

I now choose to do it a different way.

I choose to do it with sisters by my side

Feeling, seeing and witnessing me through all my pain and my pleasure in this life

Thank you sisters to those who walk by my side

those who walk behind me

and those who walk in front of me

thank you for holding space for me to be all of me

thank you for being the permission for me to be all of me

thank you for walking this path with me

thank you for doing life with me

I would like to acknowledge the Gubbi Gubbi people as the first nation's people and custodians of the lands on which I live, work and play. I pay respect to their elders past, present and future. I recognise that these lands have always been a place for learning, teaching and creation.
