Your mind is your mentor not your master

For most of my life I was ruled by my mind.

The limiting beliefs, the stories, the triggers, the cycles of self talk.

My mind felt like a prison run by the warden of depression.

I tried to control my external world while my inner world was in chaos.

I had no space in my mental world for play, presents or peace.

I felt lost and alone in the darkness.

After medicine journey early last year I began to see things differently.

I began to feel the call to explore the space inside myself I had been running from.

I could see where I had abandoned myself and let my mind take over.

I began to crave myself and self-mastery.

I deeply desired to create the intimacy with myself I craved from others.

So I started to create small changes.

I began to sit for short periods of time with myself, it was loud and sometimes I was overwhelmed with the busyness of my mind but I was devoted.

I listened to guided meditations by Deepak Chopra and eventually moved onto silent meditation.

I spent time writing from the stream of consciousness that move through my mind.

And I began to notice the conditions and the patterns I had created.

As as more and more of myself began to reveal itself, the more awareness of these mental loops emerged.

My beliefs were becoming visible.

I could see how I have created exactly what was showing up in my reality.

As these awareness began to land the things in my physical world began to shift.

It felt more spacious, it felt more peaceful.

I could begin to witness where these beliefs had limited me and as I witnessed them, they began to transform.

I started to respond rather than react to the circumstances in my life.

Then life began to respond to me.

I began to orchestrate and co create with life.

My vibration and frequency began shifting and attracting my desires with ease.

I felt in control of my life and my choices in each moment.

I had reclaimed my sovereignty.

I now take full responsibility for my life and my reality.

I am always looking for the lessons in the life I have created.

Now my inner world guides me to aligned places, people and experiences.

I am on the path to self mastery.

If you feel called this path too

Invite you to create a space of self devotion today and each day.

To devote yourself to yourself.

Take time to meet yourself and see how your world changes.

If you need support and guidance, I am here

Aho xx
